Ballina Tourism and Hospitality recently announced the appointment of Peter Fowler, Partner at Collins Hume, as Honorary Accountant and Business Adviser to the Board

In making the announcement Ballina Tourism and Hospitality’s President, Jason Mumford stated, “We are pleased to welcome Peter Fowler to our Board. His extensive experience in Northern NSW regional business will bring diversity to the makeup of our Board as well as give us representation across a number of small business sectors. Peter’s background in business advisory and proven accountancy skills will make a significant addition to our Board. We look forward to Peter’s contribution and are certain he will be a valued Board member.”

“We now have a highly skilled board of professionals with a diverse skill set that will deliver a number of critical initiatives for the growth of our industry”, Mr Mumford said.

Peter Fowler is a CPA who has spent the last ten years as a small business adviser, consultant and Partner of Collins Hume in Ballina. Peter accepted the position as Honorary Accountant and Business Adviser at Ballina Tourism and Hospitality in May commenting, “A commitment to local business is key to a sound economy in Northern NSW. Regional organisations such as Ballina Tourism and Hospitality play a key role in the success of our communities. It is a privilege to be involved.”
