The launch will introduce
Collins Hume’s Knowledge Bank – a world class resource exclusively available to Collins Hume clients – designed to make businesses more profitable and valuable by:
- Utilising live benchmarking data to identify business strengths and weaknesses
- Comparing business valuation data to ‘like’ business values to pinpoint areas for value improvement
- Determining for what comparative ‘benchmark’ businesses are buying/selling in a given industry
Collins Hume are the first accountants and business advisers to offer this new and innovative Business & Farm Solutions Program to business owners in the Northern NSW region. Working in conjunction with BStar, the firm is particularly excited by this new initiative which gives Collins Hume business clients greater exposure to tools and information to assist in planning for growth to generate more value and, ultimately, business succession.
To compliment the launch of Collins Hume’s Knowledge Bank, Risk Specialist Jamie Forster will speak on the importance of insurance and risk advice which is essential in terms of protecting both existing business and any growth initiatives a business may be undertaking, namely:
- Calculating the right level of cover a business needs by identifying goals and objectives, available assets and existing policies
- Structuring cover appropriately including ownership and taxation considerations of the alternatives
- Implementing the best, most suitable and cost effective policy for your circumstances – independent research into definitions, providers, benefit and waiting periods
- Ensuring that your risk adviser is not an insurance salesperson! Ongoing advice including regular reviews and claims service
