Collins Hume receive NSW Community Recognition Statement
Collins Hume received a Community Recognition Statement from Ms Tamara Smith MP Member for Ballina in the Parliament of NSW Legislative Assembly on 16 May 2018.

Tamara Smith MPMs Smith congratulated three Northern Rivers businesses on their outstanding leadership and innovative approach to small business – Aussie House Sitters, Plant Extracts and Collins Hume.

Ms Smith said Collins Hume was deserving of special praise as Accounting Services Winners in this year's Australian Small Business Champions Awards.

"I give a special shout out to Collins Hume," Ms Smith said. "It is an incredibly philanthropic and globally focussed local business."

"I particularly mention Peter Fowler and all of the accountants at Collins Hume of Ballina. Each of those who received awards is making invaluable contributions to the local community. The award nominations are an admirable way of giving recognition to that contribution." 

Collins Hume Partner Peter Fowler reiterated that is always a team effort, "Everything we do and achieve is because of the great team members we have and the amazing clients we are able to work with."

Collins Hume have also been shortlisted as Finalists in six national categories for Business Advisory Firm of the Year, Community Engagement Program of the Year, Office Administrator of the Year, Executive of the Year, Partner of the Year and Marketing Program of the Year at the prestigious Accountants Daily Australian Accounting Awards 2018. Winners will be announced at the awards dinner on 1 June in Sydney.
