Offering advice on wealth creation, wealth protection and insurances, strategy and structural expertise on retirement affairs, Adam works with Collins Hume's clients to provide a one-stop-shop when it comes to ensuring our clients are financially well organised.
Adam was formerly a Senior Financial Planner at The National Australia Bank. Whilst at NAB, Adam is a multi-award winner and whilst at NAB was the recipient of the Leading Lights Awards for outstanding results and values. He understands well how superannuation works and is across the array of administrative fees, but is careful to provide an onus on clients, not products.
"70 per cent of people are not prepared for retirement," says Adam. "Working with Collins Hume I review and take into consideration a client's tax position and blend that with their retirement goals, working in conjunction with the Collins Hume partners for the best possible outcome."
Adam is used to analysing complex superannuation issues and developing retirement strategies. He holds Diplomas in Financial Services and Advanced Financial Planning and Services.
We are not all alike and so we each come with a unique set of needs and wants. One size doesn't fit all so we tailor wealth creation solutions to meet each client's objectives and personal situation.
"There is a good fit working with Collins Hume," says Adam. "We share the same ethical understanding and same client philosophy where our focus is to start from the goal rather than the numbers."
Adam's advice is easy to understand and transparent, with none of the backhander commissions. He is upfront with fees and aims to show the value of his advice to each client he works with. When it comes to updating Wills or organising Power of Attorney, he engages external specialists.
Adam also received his undergraduate degree in education from Griffith University. It's his lateral thinking and conservative approach to investing that gets your money working harder.
"Many people don't realise the value they can get because once they do a round of planning, their affairs usually stay still," says Adam. "But with good monitoring and reviews, we set up protocols with our clients to simplify their financial options and ensure they feel comfortable about their present and future."
